🌿 About Me

Hi, I’m Raine — a lifelong wanderer with a camera in hand and a love for collecting moments, big and small.

My journey with travel photography started back in 2005, when I got my very first digital camera. I didn’t know what I was doing — I just loved capturing everything that caught my eye. Over the years, those snapshots turned into thousands of tiny time capsules: city streets, quiet trails, favorite cafes, and unexpected detours.

Twenty years later, I decided it was time to open the archives. Wandering Raine is my way of going back in time — revisiting the travels and adventures that happened around this same month through the years. It’s a mix of stories, photos, and reflections from my past journeys, shared with fresh eyes and a grateful heart.

I’m not here to write travel guides or bucket lists (though you might get a few ideas along the way). This blog is more about remembering — the feeling of being somewhere new, or seeing something familiar in a new light.

So if you love slow travel, a bit of nostalgia, and the kind of wandering that happens both on the road and in your mind, you’ll feel right at home here.

Thanks for coming along — let’s wander through time together.
